INVESTMENT IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING for Ontario - IAH Program 2017-2018
Investment in Affordable Housing - Affordable Rental Program (IAH- ARP)
is supported by
the Province of Ontario
The Investment in Affordable Housing for Ontario IAH Program, Affordable Rental Program (IAH-ARP) 2011/15 was launched in June 2012.
The IAH-ARP provides financial assistance, in the form of interest-free, forgivable loans to non-profit Aboriginal Service Provider (ASPs) or partnerships between private sector and non-profit ASPs, for the purpose of creating new affordable rental accommodation within the GTA.
Units created under the IAH-ARP are targeted for Aboriginal households living off-reserve and within the GTA, and who are on, or eligible to be on, an existing social housing waiting list.
The Investment in Affordable Housing (IAH) has been extended to 2020 and a portion of this funding is allocated to the Affordable Rental Program (IAH-ARP)
